The Elephant in the Room is a heartfelt children’s story about courage, belonging, and learning to appreciate who you are.
After a great war separates the animals of the savannah, a wise old tortoise journeys across the land with his family, dreaming of a better future. With the support of the Elephant King, he builds Forest Harmony School—a place where the next generation of animals can learn together, despite their differences.
Among the students is Eliya, a young elephant with a gentle heart, a loud trumpet voice, and a body much bigger than everyone else’s. Though she tries her best to fit in, Eliya is often teased for her size, her footsteps, and the way her voice fills the room. Ashamed and unsure of herself, she begins to wonder if she truly belongs.
